Love and Attachment

It is said love can not cause sorrow, only attachment can.
Love has no boundaries, it is unlimited.
Attachment chooses, it limits the soul and says, this is mine, that is mine, while nothing is ours, its only a temporary thing, it does not belong to us.
I wonder
Why love some, while we can have love for all?
Why be choosy, if it's better not to.
Why not accept others as they are, as they are unique.
Why not change the self and adapt to different situations that are faced in our everyday living, so ego will be in silence.
Why segregate people by their race, colour, culture or status in society?
Why cause sorrow, if I can give happiness?
Why search externally for things to fulfill me, if all I need is available in our being?
Why wait for others to apologize, while I can apologize myself?
Why have desires, as they are endless, and will always cause me sorrow, and emptiness?
Why expect others to do something for me, if I can be the one to do something for them?
Love is blissful, it does not expect anything from anyone, it is just loving and giving, and is able to share all the time and not take anything from others.
